The New York Times launches its new Parenting vertical

The New York Times is following up from their popular Cooking vertical with a complete group of services focused on parenting.

The Cooking section, and this new Parenting vertical will share content via a free website and app, or the opportunity to dig in a bit deeper to a paid app, and online community.

Project editorial lead Jessica Grose indicated that they “heard from a lot of parents that indicated they couldn’t find a reliable source about the ways their lives and identities could change.”

The team understood that finding parenting advice online can be a horrendous experience. This suite of services will hopefully make this a better experience as they provide research-based, actionable guidance.
